If you’re looking to get into the wireless music game, there’s a ton of choice. But when it comes down to it, there’s really only one smart choice, and that’s Sonos. To be honest, I’ve never owned a wireless speaker before, but I’ve used a bunch at friends’ houses, and experienced both good and bad. With some, the audio cuts out. Others, the sound is quiet. The 2015 flagship battles are heating up, and one of the newest contenders in the game is the heavily refreshed Samsung Galaxy S6. While I’m admittedly not the biggest fan of Samsung, I decided to give their latest effort a go. I demoed the device for two weeks and despite my expectations, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is truly bringing sexy, and Samsung, back.
CES: A techie’s paradise. Where 105 inch 8K TV’s roam and security guards forbid photos of Samsung’s newest washing machine. CES is a fascinating place, with self-driving cars and so many drones that you’d think the US Army was in attendance. But among all the flashy technology, I was most intrigued by something a bit more simple. For me, the best tech at CES was a robot called Beam.
Last night GadgetGuide attended the #HTCOneUp launch event in Toronto for the all new HTC One M8 smartphone. This phone is the successor to the highly-awarded HTC One from last year. There are a number of improvements this year, including a unibody design, dual-cameras for depth editing, and enhanced HTC BoomSound speakers.
We were very impressed with the phone, and think it will make a great competitor to the flagship Samsung Galaxy S5, which comes out tomorrow (look for a hands-on of the S5 later this month).
